The who: As a graphic designer at The Society of Arts + Crafts, a large part of my responsibility includes designing all the material for CraftBoston, the Society’s biannual craft fair that has exhibited hundreds of craft artists from around the world. For CraftBoston Holiday 2018 and CraftBoston Spring 2019, I collaborated with the CraftBoston Manager to come up with a unique branding identity for each show.
The what: Then, I’ve gotten to design the official print materials, ads, digital material, and signage (pictured above) for the events.
In addition to all the signage for CraftBoston Holiday 2018, the Society’s largest event of the year, I also designed the 44-page program—complete with the event’s new branding identity, a complex typographic system, advertisements, and the information of the nearly 200 artists participating.
Collateral for CraftBoston also includes postcards and tickets (pictured above), social media packages, and email graphics.
For this year’s CraftBoston Spring, I’ve continued to design ads for the event—which have been printed in publications such as The Boston Globe and Panorama. I also got to design CraftBoston’s first ads to be featured in the T and on billboards (pictured above).
